The colleagues of the Chamber of Accounts paid visit to Poland

On July 07-12, 2019 the delegation of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended the study visit in Poland on Component 4 on “The effective engagement of CoA  with better-informed stakeholders including Parliament, auditees and the media concerning the role and work of the COA” within Twinning Project on Strengthening the Administrative and Institutional Capacity of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

On the first day of the study visit the delegation were closely acquainted with work process in the administrative building of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland and were briefly informed on history and the management structure of SAI.

 

Later on, the President of Supreme Audit Office of Poland Krzysztof Kwiatkowski accepted the delegation and expressed his confidence that the study visit would successfully go on in compliance with training program within Twinning project on Strengthening Administrative and Institutional Capacity of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

 

Press officer of SAI Poland, meeting with the delegation gave information on relations with media and acquainted the guests with press room.

 

 

Jacek Mazur, the advisor to the President of Supreme Audit Office of Poland spoke on relations between SAI Poland and Parliament, audit approach, NIK’s participation in Parliament’s sessions and reporting in his presentation and gave information on comparative analysis regarding EU SAI’s participation at Parliamentary  Committees’ meetings.

 

Paweł Biedziak, the advisor to the President of Supreme Audit Office of Poland gave information on relations between the institution and media and talked on the role of websites, portals and TV in informing of society on the activity of Supreme Audit Office.

 

During the trainings conducted in Krakow regional branch the Director of the branch Jolanta Stawska made wider presentation generally on Małopolska Region and the activity of the branch and spoke on relations with stakeholders.

 

In the Regional Inspectorate for Environment Protection in Kraków the delegation of the Chamber of Accounts were given information on recent audits on environment protection, the reasons of environmental pollution and its prevention.

 

During the meeting in Marshal Office (local authorities) of the Małopolska Region Secretary General made presentation on the activity of the Office and relations with Supreme Audit Office of Poland.

 

The meetings were held in the form of mutual discussions and the questions of the colleagues of the Chamber of Accounts were answered.
