Videoconference was held between the Chambers of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation

The colleagues of external public financial control bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation attended the videoconference held on May 17, 2019. The Conference was dedicated to the experience of both Chambers of Accounts regarding macroeconomic indicators analysis as well as expansion of activity in this field.

 

Videoconference was commenced with opening remarks by Anton Kosyanenko, Head of Strategic Audit Department from the Russian Federation side and Vafa Mutallimova, Head of Review and Analysis Department from the side of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

During the videoconference  A. Kosyanenko, the colleague of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation made presentations on “the Russian experience in assessment of substantiality of forecasting parameters of socio-economic development” and “Main approaches in drafting methodical guideline on macroeconomic indicators substantiality audit”.

 

Zaur Valiyev, Deputy Head of Review and Analysis Department made presentation on ”Macroeconomic basis of budget forecasting and its influence on budget processes”, and gave information on macroeconomic analysis envisaged in the opinions rendered by the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding draft state budget and its execution.

 

The conclusion of the conference was the decision on  continuous  implementation of  experience  exchange , as well as invitation of other Supreme Audit Institutions to the discussions.
