The Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, Mr. Vugar Gulmammadov received representatives of the mission on Component 4 of Twinning project within the implementation of the project.
The Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts Mr. Vugar Gulmammadov received the mission on Component 4 within the implementation of Twinning Project “Strengthening of the Institutional and Administrative Capacity of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan” on January 18, 2019. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman Adil Maharramov, Project Leader and Vice President of Supreme Audit Office of Poland Mr. WojcAiech Kutyla and Component 4 Leader Mr. Jacek Jezierski and other members of the mission.
Member State Project Leader, MS Component 1 Leader Mr. Wojciech Kutyla gave information on works done within the Project so far and shared his opinion on the event held within Component 4.
Later on, Mr. Jacek Jezierski, Component 4 Leader expressed that presentation was made on specific issues on role, duty and functions of the Chamber of Accounts, main role and duties of Supreme Audit Institutions worldwide, main functions of the Chamber of Accounts, position of the Chamber of Accounts among public institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, audit activity, duties and responsibilities of the Chamber of Accounts in two-day seminars held on January 16-17, 2019, and highlighted active participation of representatives of the organizations in the seminars. Additionally, he mentioned that, next series of seminars would be held in 2019 and study tour to SAI Poland is planned to share knowledge and experience within the Component under his leadership. The issues on organization of meetings with Deputies in Milli Majlis regarding duty, power and functions of the Chamber of Accounts in March, 2019 and content and form of the presentations were also discussed during the meeting.
Mr. Vugar Gulmammadov, the Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts expressed the importance of holding seminars on duty, power and functions of the Chamber of Accounts for staff of different budget organizations with regard to obtaining relevant knowledge on the management of relations with key stakeholders and therewith further development of joint cooperation. Mr. Gulmammadov wished all the success to the members of the mission in their future activity and once again highlighted the positive impact of cooperation within Twinning Project to the development of joint cooperation with SAI Poland.
