The colleagues of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended the bilateral meetings with the Supreme Audit Institutions of Czech Republic and Hungary.

The colleagues of the Chamber of Accounts-head of the department Javid Bayramov and chief of section Sanay Pashayev attended the bilateral meetings on audit of state budget revenues held by Supreme Audit Office of Czech Republic. The principal objective of the meeting was to be familiar with the experience of SAO of Czech Republic on audit of state budget revenues and to expand the mutual relations of cooperation in this domain.

 

The meeting started with the welcoming greeting the colleagues of Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan by the President of SAO of Czech Republic  Miloslav Kala. Mr. Kala in his speech informed about the importance of such meetings from the perspective of exchange of experience, also highlighted the active participation of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan within EUROSAI and its activities. The President of SAO was presented with special book on Azerbaijan.

 

Later on, the colleague of SAO gave broad information on audit of state budget revenues, including the mandate of SAO in relation to the audit of state budget revenues, the main targets of these audits, audit forms, audit themes, audit results and its documentation procedures, as well as gave practical examples on this topic and the parties had mutual discussions. 

The colleagues of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan also the bilateral meetings on audit of state budget revenues held by State Audit Office of Hungary. The relevant departments of State Audit Office of Hungary made presentations during the meeting on the audit experience on execution of central budget on budget revenues, planning system on revenues audit, evaluation of annual draft budgets and analysis, also the transparency and accountability in the activity of SAO and both parties had discussions on issues indicated above.  

 

At the end of both meetings parties sounded the proposals to continue and expand the cooperation within EUROSAI on audit of state budget revenues and other domains, and mutual exchange of ideas were held in this context.
