Seminar on “The Importance of Quality Indicators in Assessment Practice of Efficiency in SAIs’ Activity” was held in the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 20-21 February, 2018.
According to the Work Plan approved in XVII session of the Council of SAIs Heads of CIS Member Countries held in Baku on 5-6 September, 2017 representatives of the Chamber of Accounts of the Russian Federation, the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Accounts Committee for the Control over Execution of the Republican Budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic attended the Seminar lasting for 2 days under the chairmanship of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The reports of the delegations of the participating institutions on the topic were listened in the meeting.
Moderator of the first day of the meeting, Director of Review and Analysis Department of the Chamber of Accounts Vafa Mutallimova shared her work experience, noted that annually prepared and presented to Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the public report includes key indicators on annual activity of the Chamber of Accounts and gave detailed information on the goals and calculation of performance indicators applied for assessment of the results of its activity.
During the discussions on the reports the participants shared the experience on the assesment of efficiency of the SAI’s activity of their countries.
It should be noted that, Seminar will continue its work on February 21 within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Russia, on the issues regarding learning of practice in audit of funds implementing payments on social security at the expences of Federal Medical Insurance Fund as well as Pension Fund and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation.
